Great North Shore weekend activities

We are going to have another fun-filled weekend here on the North Shore. I know we say this all the time, but it is true and why we live up here year round. This weekend hold many activities up in Grand Portage, a beautiful 30 mile drive past Grand Marais. This weekend is the annual Rendezvous Days & Pow-wow celebration. I love watching the beautiful Pow-wow dancers in their amazing costumes moving so gracefully with the music. Moose burgers are always a must (yes moose is delicious!). Step back in time in the Voyager village and take home treasures such as trade beads made of bones & fox pelts.
